We were once alienated from God, chasing after things that could never satisfy. But through Christ, God found us, reconciled us, and transformed us so we can be stable and steadfast in Him. This message unpacks how His grace moves us from hostility and instability to holiness, hope, and security in the gospel.
Jesus must be central in our lives — as the image of God, the Creator of all things, and the Redeemer who brings peace through the cross.
Colossians 1 teaches that God’s will is not a hidden mystery we must anxiously search for, but a clear call to glorify Him in every circumstance. Paul’s prayer for the Colossians reminds us that knowing God leads to bearing fruit, relying on His strength, and living with gratitude. Through Christ’s redemption, believers are freed to walk confidently in God’s will with assurance, joy, and purpose .
We’re excited to kick off our new sermon series, “Colossians: Christ Alone.” This first message looks at Colossians 1:1–8 as we begin exploring the preeminence of Christ in all things.
